Advert Description

A well preserved example of this extremely rare version of the pre-war 8HP Morris Minor.
The "Family" saloon is a long wheelbase 4 door version retaining the OHC engine, (as fitted to the MG "M" Midget) with hydraulic brakes and
rear mounted petrol tank. Recent engine rebuild.
This is one of only 6 listed in the Morris register worldwide. The vehicle is "on-the-road" with current (tax-free) license and insurance. Since its last MoT in 2012 (MoT no longer required on pre- war, historics) it has done minimal mileage.
Shown regularly at vintage events, it retains its original patina and is mechanically sound.
It is not a "concours" restoration but a fully roadworthy, reliable, drive-able, post-vintage classic vehicle. Interior headlining and interior fabric trim is original but "tired". Pytchley sliding roof is present but covered externally at the moment.
Registered with Pre-War Morris club and Vintage Minor Register. Although not strictly a "vintage" (ie. pre 1930) it is always welcome at vintage club meetings as it was the final version of the marque from 1928.
