Fabulous copy of Nicholas Thomas Gets Into Trouble, No.1.
Stories of this mischievious cat by Kitty Styles, with illustrations by Mary Kendal Lee.
Book itself in very good condition, with minor rubbing damage to top and bottom of spine.
All pages tightly bound, intact and undamaged. No fading of the richly coloured illustrations. No foxing, although a few smudge marks on inside cover pages.
The dust jacket shows some signs of wear and minor damage - please see photos.
In all, a rare bright, clean copy complete with a dust jacket in passable condition. A lot of copies don't have a dj with them.
Includes coloured illustrations on almost every page.
I estimate this book to be from around the 1920s or 30s. There is no publishing date anywhere to be seen, so this is an estimate based on the style of the writing and illustrations, and the period that Kitty Styles and Mary Kendal Lee were known to be active.
