This porcelain picture frame with 3 yellow roses raised on the front also has a poem about yellow roses written by the late Olive Cork.
Olive Cork of Penwortham, Preston, had been writing poetry and doing paintings for many years purely as a hobby and had just kept them in drawers and never had them published.
A few years ago we persuaded her to allow us to copy and publish them for the pleasure of others and the benefit or our charity, the Brittle Bone Society, Longridge Branch. She gave us sole publication and distribution rights of her poems and prints of her paintings, and we therefore printed books of her poems and made many framed prints of her work. We also held 2 exhibitions of her work here in Longridge in 2014 with which she was highly delighted, before she sadly passed away in November of that year, but we continue to offer her work for the benefit of our charity, and the pleasure of others.
This is one of the many items we continue to offer.
It measures 8 inches ( 20 cm ) in height and is 6 inches ( 15 cm ) wide at the base. It weighs 856 grams and would cost £2.85 for postage and packing.
