Land Rover Series IIA. 1968 Historic vehicle. This is a project vehicle that’s a ‘wolf in sheep’s clothing’ with all of the hard work done. Only external clue to the fact that this is a special vehicle is the chunky tyres. Galvanized chassis with front winch, all panels painted and mostly assembled, many new. Brand new Isuzu 2.8 diesel engine with Steve Parker adaptor kit. Intercooled. Heavy duty radiator. Ashcroft high ratio transfer box, Salisbury back axle. Power steering, front disc brakes. 5 x BF Goodridge Tyres on specially adapted offset rims. Air conditioning evaporator, condenser & compressor fitted. Parabolic springs with lift kit.
The bulkhead with classic metal dash board has been completely refurbished, new doors, new military door tops, roll cage, rock sliders, defender seats and many small well thought out upgrades. All door, window seals still in packets.
This Land Rover has been my garage project for many years and will be worth over £20k finished and is needing only minor work to finish off. I’m self employed and far too busy to finish it myself so I’m looking for a new owner who will be able to finish this beautiful vehicle off. It starts, drives steers perfectly and will be hell of a vehicle when it’s finished. I have kept all receipts and record of work done on this project over the last 18 years.
To finish off it will need windscreen glass, rag top and a wiring loom and exhaust pipe.
