Advert Description

Oxfam Bookshop Brigg This is a scarce early album by the American jazz and cabaret singer, Salena Jones, who has toured internationally and recorded over forty albums. During 2017 she will be appearing at various venues in London including Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club. The stereo album was released on the CBS label in 1970 and is in very good condition with only a few light cross-track marks on each side. The album cover is in very good condition with a few light handling creases on the laminated front and some light dust soiling showing in the white areas on the unlaminated back; corners have minor rubbing, and the upper edge is separated along the glued edge. The orange record label is marked Made in England and has stamped matrix numbers S 63901 A2 on side 1, and S 63901 B2 on side 2, indicating an early pressing. The inner sleeve, which is lightly creased on the tanned edges, is the original CBS version depicting other album covers on one side. Intriguing tracks, including Tim Rose's "Morning Dew", make this an item of particular interest to the many fans of Salena Jones. See Oxfam website for delivery information
