Get Your Craft on With the National Trust on Black Friday

If you want to stir away from the madness that will be Black Friday weekend, the National Trust have you covered. There are plenty of things to do! We got in touch with the charity to see what they had on, and boy are they keeping busy! Here are some cooking and craft workshops you can get stuck in between the 19th and 27th November.  Stay tuned for the plethora of walks you can go on this winter.

Get into the festive spirit by joining one of the National Trust’s food and craft workshops.

Families can choose from a variety of fun activities, from stirring up the Christmas pudding and decorating festive jumpers to creating glittery lanterns and sparkly baubles.

Or for the more outdoorsy, why not head outside to try out some ‘50 things to do before you’re 11 ¾’ activities, with wild art and campfire cooking.

There’s plenty on offer for adults too, with artisan workshops ranging from creating wreaths and candles to learning traditional baking methods. Every one of these workshops will help you take home something inspired by beautiful surroundings.

Every visit to one of these places helps the National Trust’s work as a charity to look after special places, for ever, for everyone.

The National Trust is a conservation charity founded in 1895 by three people who saw the importance of our nation’s heritage and open spaces, and wanted to preserve them for everyone to enjoy. More than 120 years later, these values are still at the heart of everything the charity does.

Entirely independent of Government, the National Trust looks after more than 250,000 hectares of countryside, 775 miles of coastline and hundreds of special places across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

More than 20 million people visit every year, and together with 4.5 million members and over 62,000 volunteers, they help to support the charity in its work to care for special places forever, for everyone.
