La Befferie is the farmhouse of an old cider farm at La Befferie, a tiny rural hamlet in the rural Southern Manche Departement of Normandy, close to the Brittany border.
Dating back probably to the early 1700's, La Befferie is a traditional colombage or timber framed farmhouse which would originally have had a thatched roof. It is situated in 5.5 acres of gently rolling farmland, surrounded by apple trees and pasture, with a beautiful view down the valley.
