The photos shown on this advert are views of the house and one of Calpe beach and Rock, plus a Fiesta held in the town of Moraira. This Holiday accommodation in the Costa Blanca area near the town of Moraira which has a beautiful beach and town with many restaurants. The same can be said for the town of Calpe, also very close.

This delightful old Finca (Farmhouse) is divided into two entirely private halves. The Co-owners, who maintain the gardens, pool, changing of linen etc., live in one half and are always available for help and information. The other part is for holiday makers. They have exclusive use of the pool.

It is a wonderful way to enjoy a country holiday, yet be within 5 to 15 minutes of three or four small towns.

There is plenty to do including hill walking in the Bernia Mountains which can be seen from the Finca and is a ten minute drive away.

Several golf courses are within easy reach, riding stables, open-air markets and safe clean (Blue Flag award) beaches. Calpe boasts the famous rock which the adventurous can climb, a harbour with boat rides to Denia and Benidorm plus delightful fish restaurants.

The Finca offers a palm shaded lawn near the pool to simply read or relax, or simply stroll through the fields belonging to the Finca and see the Spanish neighbours tending the vines.

There is a fully equipped Doll Studio and the co-owner will be happy to show anyone around or even make a small doll, (time permitting) to take home as a souvenir.

If you have never tried the famous Spanish Paella there are several restaurants, one in walking distance, where this special dish can be sampled. Alternatively, one can be cooked at the Finca for a special evening at home.

The accommodation is spacious, one double bedroom, one twin bedded room and one single bedroom. There is a modern bathroom and kitchen, plus a sitting/dining room and a Naya (Garden Room) which overlooks the pool. In the lounge there is a Satellite receiver with mainly English news. Ample car parking. The views are stunning overlooking the mountains on one side and towns and distant sea views in the other direction. The motorway is 3 kilometres away and a small supermarket just 300 yards up the tarmac lane. There are several supermarkets in the town which is just 2 kilometres away. A railway station with frequent delightful trains running from Alicante City all the way along the coast to Denia. That is 1 kilometre away.

The cost of the accommodation depends on the season. Earlier in the year from part/April to end May £250 per week for up to 2 people. For June to end of September £360 per week for up to 2 people. NB. Any extra guest wishing to stay £40 per week extra. MAX 5 PERSONS

If you want somewhere quiet to relax, this is it and the beach only a short drive away at either Moraira or Calpe.

If you do decide to make a booking, a WELCOME PACK will await you on your arrival at the Villa. It will contain the basics to get you going such as a hot drink or glass of wine.

Casa planet villa information update:

As I have just encountered many problems with a visitor to the Villa who ignored all my advice given to him via the telephone I am now sending the following standard information.

1. I do not let out the Villa before May unless particularly requested. The reason for this is that Casa Planet is not on the Costa del Sol which has sunshine and high temperatures all year. It can be quite cold before June and after September. At all times of the year one item of warm clothing is recommended.
2. Private health insurance and the E111 card are very important. Health care is not available in Spain, except at very high cost, without these forms.
3. A gas cooker, comprising Hob, grill and oven is available, and you will be shown how to use it on arrival.
4. Television is available but with only limited channels, mainly news. However, there is a DVD player with a selection of DVDs for your use, and you may bring your own if you so wish.
5. I am sending this information to all who have booked with me this year so that you are aware of the above. I want you to enjoy your holiday, but be aware that it is not the United Kingdom and you will not find everything you may take for granted day to day in the UK.
6. Your Passport must be carried with you at all times when in Spain. It is an offence not to have it with you if stopped by the police.
7. When driving, you must have one fluorescent jacket for each person being carried in the vehicle. That is Spanish Law (also in France).
8. The other law in Spain is that the driver of any car must have a spare pair of glasses with them when driving. (If they normally wear glasses to drive).
9. There is a large dog on the property. The dog is owned by the Co-owner. The dog will not bother guests once introduced, she barks at all people outside of the property walls. A very good guard dog.
