Historic Ice Climbing Tools!
Genuine Chouinard/Frost ice climbing tools.
When Chouinard came to Scotland to climb in the early seventies, he brought with him these wonderful (then inovative) ice climbing tools. I bought three of them, Two 'climaxes' and one hammer. Since then I have used them successfully in Scotland and the Alps. I am now too old to climb at the standard these tools were designed for. There must be someone out there who would like to take over the ownership of these historic tools. They are all in excellent condition and most suited to steep 'close combat' type of climbing in narrow restricted gullies.
