1978 VW Type 2 Campervan
I spent 12 months fully restoring this vehicle in minute detail about three years ago as a 'labour of love' for my daughter and her family. I have all of the relevant receipts which total more than 6,000 pounds, and no stone was left unturned in terms of completing the renovation! Since being restored, this vehicle has only done 3000 miles. Whilst it has brought much pleasure to a young family of two adults and three children, they have all grown older and bigger and my daughter has now decided to sell the vehicle. The engine was reconditioned 23000 miles ago. It is able to seat 9 people, and I have fitted seat belts for all 9 passengers to enhance safety. In redesigning the interior, the emphasis has been on creating optimum space for passengers and a generous sleeping space. The rear seats convert flat to make full width bed and there are 2 hammock beds under pop-top. Good condition throughout and runs well. CD changer with 4 speakers which sounds really good. The vehicle is taxed and has an MOT until Oct. It has been regularly and recently serviced. Advertised elsewhere, so I reserve the right to withdraw from auction.
