This motor home is in very good condition and is excellent for long term touring. Being self-sufficient makes holidays very cheap, All you need to do is pack your holiday clothes and drive off. We have just come back from a 3 week 3000 km trip round France. The vehicle never missed a beat. Returning a similar or better MPG (30 mpg) as many of the newer motor homes we came across.
This is probably the best and luxurious Motor home on the market. It has German build quality known as the BMW/Mercedes of the motorhome world. It sleeps four in comfort, and boasts a mighty 2.5 diesel engine
Bodywork
The aluminium body is double skinned and insulated which means that you never suffer from damp, rust or cold, fully winterised
Engine
Citroen 2.5 TURBO diesel. It gives you unlimited power but returning 30 mpg. Recent new cam belt, receipts going all the way back to its original purchase at new. MOT till mid April 2009 Taxed till October 133000 KM not miles
Dining
Large enough to enable four people to sit around it in comfort. The rear lounge layout is very social and allows comfortable relaxing area.
Berths
A very large pull down luxurious double berth with a very comfortable Hymer mattress. A large rear double berth
Washroom and toilet
Most impressive is the very spacious washroom w/c hot and cold water for the shower and basin and a flushable Thetford cassette toilet
Kitchen
The kitchen is very functional and has gas hobs, together with a gas oven, so rare and useful. 12v/240v/gas fridge/freezer, and sink. Water management includes 120ltr fresh and fully winterised wastewater tanks. A Trauma gas boiler provides hot water and blown air heating with thermostatic control, so the van keeps nice and warm even on those cooler British evenings? We have used this van in -3c temperatures, needing only to have the heater on its lowest setting.
Windows
Silver screens are fitted on the windows, with fly screens.
Storage
There is ample storage including many overhead and floor level cupboards and a good-sized wardrobe, all in a beautiful wood
