Peavey bass rig
This rig comprises a Peavey Nitrobass amp (450W @ 2ohm, 300W @ 4ohm, 170W @ 8ohm) and two Peavey 115BX BW cabinets (1x15" Black Widow speaker, 4ohm).
I've owned this rig for six years, and originally purchased it brand new for a total of £900. Since then it has been used for three gigs, but mainly for bedroom practise. Needless to say, it's in excellent condition.
It's very loud. Even with just one cab connected, it's loud. This is a phenomenally good setup, and the only reason that I'm selling it is that it's much louder than I need, and I figure that somebody else can probably put that volume to much better use.
The amp head is full of features, including a balanced XLR out (with ground lift switch and pre/post EQ switch), effects loop with footswitch input, 3-band EQ with shiftable mid, contour control, tuner output, DDT speaker protection, and connections for external pre/power amps.
It's fairly big. Each cabinet weighs about 80lb, and if you don't have a van or large car then you'll need to collect it in two trips.
