Some months ago our dog sadly died in an accident and so recently we adopted a crossbreed (staff x yorkie apparently!!) who is a loopy young chap.

We're having a little difficulty bonding with him because we think that he needs a little more attention than we can give him for his hyperactive personality.

He's a medium-sized dog, never been aggressive to our knowledge but we were told that he dislikes small dogs.

So we'd love to adopt a second dog - preferably a dog that is out of the puppy stage, a young adult or possibly a bit older - to keep both us and him company. However we'd consider a younger dog if it's a breed that doesn't suggest that it's too hyperactive. (We think the contrast would do Charlie good, y'know?)

If female, she'd need to be spayed or you'd need to wait for us to get Charlie neutered (as we plan to.)

The dog must be okay with cats, this is an absolute must as we have two cats - a young cat and an older cat. Both are fine and happy with dogs but would rather not be harrassed.

I stay at home so I am here 24/7 to play with and care for the pets (walking etc.) so they are never left alone.

We are not looking to buy your expensive purebred puppies or your designer crosses. We are not looking to spend hundreds of pounds on a dog. We can try to pay for the work that you have done as a fosterer, but I'll be honest - we don't have much money to spare outside of the money that we spend on our own pets to provide them with excellent care.
