The Boat is an ex Ships lifeboat converted into a Cabin Cruiser. Don't know what Boat it came off. It is about 27foot long by about 8 foot at its widest. It has a six foot double bed which combines as a table and there are two single bed spaces fore, which one is about five foot and the other could be seven feet, so for that tall person........

Email me if you want photo's. The caption shows the boat about six years ago when it had the hull sand blasted and primed. PLEASE NOTE the Boat is not as tidy as in the photo's - hence the price. If you are not prepared to do a bit of sanding and painting/varnishing of the upper deck area then this Boat is not for you.
The important factor is that you are not dealing with a wooden hull and possible rot and shrinkage issues, or Glassfibre and possible Osmosis problems needing a Marine Survey. This is a sound Aluminium hull and with a Glassfibre topdeck over ships ply and mahogany. Draft is about eighteen inches. The Ali alone is worth £400 at todays prices I imagine.

The Boat has a 30HP Mercedes/Volvo Penta Diesel in board Engine, and I have the Manual for it. I have turned the engine over and spent £450 on a Stainless Steel Exhaust/Heat Exchanger. I have not seen the Engine working though I was assurred that it did work by the previous owner and the Boat came came from up North under its own power. I have turned the Engine over with the Glow plugs removed, and a Mechanic thought there would be little problem in getting it working. There is a set of new glow plugs and I did change the oil in the Engine.

The Boat has a private Toilet and wash basin area and the Galley has two cupboards and three drawers.

The Boatyard laying up fees for the Boat is £8.93 per week and I have pre-paid to the 26th December.

This is a sturdy solid boat with a weight of ballast and so its not something you can tow behind a car but you could get it moved on a low loader. Please bear this in mind.
