RED VFR 750 FJ - 1988

This is a nice example of the FJ model first Registered in 1988 on a "F" Plate and is the more powerful 105BHP model. It's thought of as one of the best Bikes Honda ever made.

I have owned the bike since December 2004 and it has only had three other owners.

The mileage reading is 26,634 and only 91 miles have been ridden since I last got it MOT'd in June 2007 and the Bike is permanently shackled and garaged.

Since acquiring the Bike which had 25,000 miles on it, I did a fairly extensive amount of work on it, but have not done any serious long distances riding. Owing to a back complaint I now have to sell her as she is a heavy bike and I've been told not to move heavy things. Because of this I allowed the insurance to lapse and the Bike MOT ran out 5th June 2008 and the Tax ran out end June.

I have since ownership, fitted two front Wavy Brake Discs which look really exciting. These are not cheap additions. Both Calipers have been restored and new Brake shoes put on. I have replaced the Rear Disc with a brand new plain disk and also serviced the Caliper.

I have fitted a Brand new Chain and brand new Sprockets front and back as a set and in all must have spent a thousand on her. There is also a Scotoiler fitted.

There are two Panniers which I got given with the bike but never used. Not sure how they fit.

The bike has a full Stainless Steel exhaust system.

This is a fabulous classic bike to ride with a bullet proof V4 Engine and I only regret that my health has not allowed me to tour on it as I had originally intended. I think the top speed of this bike is around 150mph. It's a very sturdy bike at speed.
