Annie and the Birds of Graceland is a book of fiction that tells the story of a little girl Annie who lives in Manchester , her grandfather and a Witch called Marvel who transforms people into birds to keep them as slaves in her kingdom Graceland.
The book is a great book that tells about the problems we are facing nowadays in our society like bullying ( at school, in our families, our communities, at work ), the way children and elderly people are physically and verbally abused and it helps understand towards Annie and Alan (the grandfather) characters what is like to be bullied and try to find a way of standing up for ourselves.
