Blackstar HT-Dual valve overdrive/distortion pedal
Practically brand new twin-channel all-valve overdrive and distortion pedal. It's listed used as I have used it a handful of times, but you really wouldn't know. Box, manual and power adaptor are included. This was bought new about two months ago! This is a very good effects pedal. If you have a single channel valve amp, this gives you two switchable overdrive channels that blend in with the tone of the amp so naturally. The range of sounds is awesome, as you can go from a mild boost to give your sound an extra bit of bite or volume, to loads of sweet distortion. If your amp has an overdrive channel already, this pedal can be used to boost the overdriven signal from the amp using channel 1, and then create huge tone when you want channel 2. Many reviewers on Harmony Central have said this is the best overdrive stomp box they've heard - average reviews were 9.5 out of 10 for features, sound and build quality, For me, every note you play is clear and crisp and it doesn't matter where your controls are. This pedal works like the EQ panel of an amp, so you have separate gain and volume controls for each channel, and bass, middle, treble and something called ISF, which shapes the character of the sound anywhere from "British" to "American" sounds. Highly versatile indeed, and there is also a great emulated output which, when used to record directly, gives the impression of a speaker cabinet being used. So to summarise, this pedal is incredibly well-built, great-sounding, and versatile for both recording and live performance. AND it looks great in its steel chassis with it's backlit front panel! You really should give this a go! Cheers.
