I have owned this vehicle for approximately 4 years and used it for towing our caravan. Not long after I bought her, a core plug went and I had them all replaced. Then the cam belt went and I had it repaired and the modified pulley kit fitted. About a year ago the head gasket went and no expense was spared:-
New Head New Radiator New Water Pump & Gaskets New Expansion Tank New Glow Plugs New Thermostat New Temperature Sensor New Push Rods etc etc etc
Last year it failed the MOT on 2 rear disks, both were replaced.
I have never taken her off-road, unless you count a campsite?
The ignition barrel was also changed last year due to the common key sticking problem, I fitted a brand new one.
The guy who I bought her off had her under sealed regularly so I have never had problems with the chassis on MOT inspections as I believe a lot of people do
The only reason I'm selling her is that I decided and treated myself to a TD5 as a I have been impressed with the discovery as a tow vehicle, would have liked a Discovery 3 but will have to wait for my numbers to come up.
