4 books of cigarette cards for sale!
collection was my grandfather's so i don't know much about them, but:
book 1) 'Footballers pro' in a 'Churchman's cigarette picture card album' (so not the album intended for that specific collection). the book is full (50 cards) and my grandfather has written 'out of date '46' so I am presuming the footballers are pre-1946. cards are in great condition, except my grandfather has put an small 'x' in pen on some of them.. hardly noticebale though. the cards are NOT stuck in
book 2) 'Air Raid precautions' - 'WD and HO Wills'. complete book, lovely condition but book has white streak on cover... looks a bit like paint or tippex but does not affect the beautiful collection inside.
book 3) 'Cycling 1839 to 1939' - 'issued by John Player and sons' again, complete collection, and lovely condition except cover of book a little stained.
book 4) 'An album of cricketers 1938' issued by John Player and sons. complete, and beautiful collection.
someone who will appreciate them please give them a good home!
