Description

William de Blaise harpsichord for sale. Good condition, and with a good overall sound, but the tone is a little uneven and one or two strings have a 'buzz' in the lower register. Also, one or two plectra don't always bounce back, which means some notes don't repeat rapidly. The instrument was bought in a dilapidated condition, and was renovated by a professional instrument maker/restorer. I have played the instrument purely for pleasure, and it would need some additional restoration to bring it up to concert performance or continuo standard, but is very playable for personal use.
