This beautifully presented volume comprises the First Edition First Printing of the Deluxe Edition of J K Rowling's Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone, with a special extra. The illustrator of the cover of the book has added his own personal touch ot the half title page of the book. Open the volume, and you will find Harry Potter zipping around the page in the midst of a game of Quidditch. This volume is a unique work. A complete one-off, the volume was done by the artist on commission.

The illustrators of the Harry Potter series have painted a handful of books in this way - and no painting design is repeated anywhere else. Bookdealers are offering these rare painted books at more than twice the price that I am offering this one for. Why am I offering these to you so cheaply? That's easy - because I a have closed my book dealership, and now as a private seller, I have only a handful of books left. I am offering these books at the price I paid for them. You will not find them cheaper anywhere else. I recently showed these books to famous international bookdealer Adrian Harrington. He confirmed that these were the very books that he had originally commissioned the artists to paint. He sold the books some time ago, and then they were sold on to me when the purchaser needed to cash in his investment quickly. Adrian is offering these books for at least twice the price. This is the trade price for these books. You will not find them anywhere else at this amazingly low price. You simply cannot lose!

For those wanting something extremely special for their collection, this book is it. The book is in VERY GOOD PLUS condition, in a custom made box which looks marvellous. There is evidence of a tiny bump to the top outer front corner of this volume, where the artist had to handle the book to paint on to it. The box is lined with crushed velvet. The book is also SIGNED on the front pastedown by the artist. This is a specatcular volume. At time of writing, this was the only copy of the Deluxe Edition of the Philosopher's Stone available with artist's painting. An excellent work. TOBO ID 6810.
