2 Miniature Pet Pigs for Sale - Herts/Cambs
Elvis Pigsley and Arnold are looking for a new LOVING home. They are Pennywell type pigs and were born in May 2008. They are bred from New Zealand Kune Kune, miniature pot bellies and a tad of wild boar. They stand at about 13" tall and are probably fully grown now - the size of a Spaniel but fatter! They are truely adorable and have the most wonderful temprements and personalities. They come when called, can sit on command (ish!) and despite living outside love to wander in and out of the house when the back door is open. I have a holding number and to move them only necessitates a call to DEFRA to receive a holding number for the destination address. Pet pigs can be walked on a harness providing a licence is obtained to confirm the route from the environment agency. I haven't been hugely successful with the walking - their instinct is to walk backwards so needs someone to walk behind - no mean feat when its me and two pigs!! The waiting lists for these pigs is closed and the prospect of obtaining a piglet in the next 3 years is about nil. I paid a approximately £500 for these and whilst i am not looking to recoup my money or make a profit of any description, i am looking for payment to confirm a commitment. Miniature pigs tend to live for approximately 10 years. They get on brilliantly with my terrier cross, cats and tortoise. They are totally toilet trained and will only poo in one place outside. When indoors they have never ever had one accident and will stand at the door to ask to go out! Whilst Elvis and Arnold live outside as you can see from the photo they are rather partial to trying to slip indoors to sleep on a wicker lounger in the conservatory! They love having their tummies tiggled, love sunbathing and really are wonderful pets. Any info please call, i will happily answer any questions. Only kind loving people please contact me. This is going to break my heart letting them go so i really need to know they will be loved and most certainly are not for bacon.
