Engle Thunder 50 watt 1 x 12 combo. Incredibly loud combo which can do anything from clean country twang through to the filthiest of metal.

It's astoundingly loud with incredible clean headroom that can instantaneously switch to a snarling overdrive/distortion upon command. Your bandmates will be begging for mercy and imploring you to turn it down. Even at less than half-volume it's more than enough for most gigs.

This fantastic amp suits both single coil and humbucker equipped guitars. It's often been said that this is the poor man's Mesa Boogie. I disagree. This amp is in a class of it's own, nothing compares to it given the price in my humble opinion. Brand new these babies retail for anything between £750 to £799. Despite being a German-made amplifier, I find the ENGL's sound is more British than anything else. Clearly the designer must be a fan of both Hi-Watt and Marshall. This is a Boogie killer in a nutshell!

With a host of practical features and a clearly-arranged control panel, handling this amp is a piece of cake. The Thunders creamy tube tone and silky spring reverb truly set this amplifier apart.

The Thunder comes complete with a host of features which you'll find useful where it counts most. Among these are three channels CLEAN CRUNCH and LEAD. You also get two different connection systems for different footswitches-conventional ¼" jacks as well as a port for the optional ENGL Z series compact footswitch.

VGC with a few minor scrapes hardly noticeable to the tolex. Will sell for £400 cash which is a steal for one of these or may do a trade for a cornford carrera or hurricane or another smaller wattage valve amp. May do a deal on another item of a similar value.
