For those of you who are familiar with the Carlight Commander you are most likely aware of the level of praise this caravan has received in the press. If not, here are just a few quotes about this caravan from the specialist caravan magazines.
“The best quality tourer we’ve ever tested” – Practical caravan “… one of those classic designs which will stand the test of time” – Caravan life “Quality craftsmanship that’s difficult to rival in the caravan industry” – Caravan Plus “Elegance, excellence and even extravagance are terms that have figured in a big way”… - Caravan Answers “… some of the most comfortable beds ever encountered in a caravan” - Practical Caravan “The Carlight 152 is the caravanning equivalent of a suite at the Dorchester” – Caravan Club
(copies of the above extracts are included within the documentation)
From my research these models don’t appear to come up for sale very often, as owners tend to stay with them. This one has been cherished by my parents-in-law for quite a number of years now. They have owned a number of caravans in the past, but this model has been their clear favourite. It has been checked and serviced annually and has been normally wintered in covered accommodation.
Small golf ball sized dent on lower side of caravan exterior. Minor damage around tow bar cowling – neither effect the running of the vehicle and could be made good cosmetically by the new owner if needed.
