antique mantlepiece ornaments
My grandmother purchased these, second hand, about 75 years ago. They are about 100 years old.
She was not rich, and these are the cast iron variety, alas, she could not afford the pewter ones that were much further up market.
If you have an Edwardian style house, or a nice wide shelf or mantlepiece, this pair will be perfect.
They are approx 90 cm high on a strong dark wood base.
They do add an interesting effect to your home
