About Dutovlje Dutovlje is a medium/large village with a population of around 300 and boasts most eminities, including: bank, petrol station, doctors and dentist surgery, shop, bar, butchers, hardware store and restaurant. The beautiful countryside of the Kras region is now one of the top 5 tourist destinations targeted by the Slovene Tourist board for investment and is visited by people from around the world due to the Lipica Stud Farm situated near Sezana. The Italian boarder is 4km (people in the region speak fluent Italian), the local town, Sezana is 10km, the city of Trieste is an easy 20mins drive and the capital city, Ljubljana is 50mins away.
