Description
This semi-acoustic electric guitar, modelled on the Gibson ES335 was marketed by Baldwin (who purchased the legendar English guitar maker Burns in 1965) between 1967 and 1970. The body for the 706 was made by the renowned Italian guitar manufacturer Crucianelli. The neck, complete with chrome Van Ghent tuners, was made by Burns of London and assembled at Fayetteville in the USA. The 706 has double pole single coil pickups and is finished in solid red. It has a Bigsby-style vibrato/whammy bar with string rollers and an adjustable fine-tune bridge. The guitar is all-original and is in very good for it?s age. This is a cool retro guitar! The original solid case is included in the price.
