Description
After two years of ownership I am regretfully selling my super rare camaro due to lack of use. The car is a surprisingly economical (30mpg) 3.4 V6 with auto transmission and spent all its life in Japan so 100% rust free!My Camaro is torch red and is a cut above cars at this price as it has full bilstein suspension, a hand built £950 exhaust system, CNC machined budnik wheels from California (285/40 R17 on rear). Most striking is the genuine JP vizage body kit and rear pro street tailgate spoiler. Despite only covering 1000 miles or so since importation and last MOT, the car has never missed a beat and it never fails to bring a smile with the huge attention the car gets, it sounds awesome too! I spent alot of money, the exhaust is a thing of beauty and the wheels alone cost upwards of £1800 and I also had professionally fitted a high end Clifford alarm with remote release and locking. The car has upgraded Alpine/Nacimichi front speakers and all the usual things E/W, E/M, C/L, E/seat, A/C etc I had the front brake discs and pads replaced although old ones were fine (these were done in 2007 and yet have to be bedded in! I fitted platinum plugs, upgraded HT leads, K&N panel filter, Penzoil oil, new filters, New Serpentine belt and complete new brake fluid and coolant throughout. The car runs great and I spent £360 just on parts from the US. The bad parts ok, the paint on the bodykit is peeling off in parts, it was damaged getting off the ferry and the painter did a poor job, he didn't get paid! The lacquer was power washed off the driver?s door so needs touched up and the yokohama tyres are now old and are beginning to crack and tread on front is low. So if the paint was blown over properly and the car had new tyres, it would be back to being a show car. The A/C also needs regassed and the passenger window is slow but this really is a lovely, clean, genuine car with a Japanese service history. I am hoping to do some travelling in my vw camper as I just lost my job so I really do have to let the car go so please make a sensible offer, no time wasters please. Thanks
