LOCATION This light, airy villa is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery and pine forests; its elevated position allows panoramic views of farms and meadows at the front, snow-capped mountains to the side and protected forestry land at the back.

This unspoiled area of Turkey is ideally located for exploring some of the most beautiful parts of the Mediterranean coast and is within easy reach of many larger towns and attractions.

Authentic Turkish village life can be experienced first-hand in Kadikoy village, just five minutes drive away, where supplies can be purchased in the local shops which include a pharmacy. At the traditional Turkish roadside Locantas, you can watch the locals as they prepare your food - trout, BBQ meat or the wonderful vegetarian Turkish meze starters. The immediate area around the villa is perfect for exploring, walking, climbing, cycling, painting and bird/wildlife watching.

Saklikent Gorge -The second largest gorge in Europe is only 15 minutes away. There are many walking trails here. Alternatively you can sit in one of the traditional Turkish lounges which are suspended 0.5m above the ice-cold running waters and shaded by fig trees while eating freshly caught trout. For the more adventurous, there is white water rafting, waterfalls and mud baths!

Tlos (10 minutes away)- This is probably the oldest city in Lycia. Parts of the ancient Lycian citadel can be seen on the Acropolis Hill, along with the ruins of a Byzantine fortress, numerous rock-strewn tombs, a Roman stadium, amphitheatre and baths. This site is easily seen from the garden and vice versa!

The Villa On the ground floor is a modern fitted kitchen, a large dining area and an open-plan lounge with a cosy Turkish corner with an open, stone fireplace. Full length windows overlook the garden, terrace and pool. There is also a wc and shower room and a utility room with plumbed-in washing machine and large safe in situ. Through patio doors, the lounge opens onto the shady, garden terrace with outdoor lighting for al-fresco evening dining. From the terrace, a step leads down to the sunny garden which has a variety of fruit trees, shrubs and plants and the large, 12m x 5m, private swimming pool with tiled surround. Included in the price are the pool pump and all pool accessories, so it is essentially ready to go!

Upstairs, leading from the large viewing gallery, (the views through the full-length windows here are breath-taking) is a family shower room and wc, two twin-bedded rooms and a double bedded master bedroom with en-suite and dressing room facilities. A 'gossip' balcony runs the length of the gallery outside, connecting with the master and the front bedroom. All the bedrooms have air-conditioning units, quality curtains with separate sun blinds and include new beds with orthopedic mattresses and new, modern bedroom suites.

The three shower-rooms are tastefully designed and fully tiled and all windows are double glazed and have quality curtains and sun blinds. To ensure complete peace of mind when the property is empty, all the ground-floor windows and doors have been fitted with metal security grills. Solar panels on the roof ensure constant free hot water.
