Description

With its ironing board the size of almost 10 conventional irons, the Singer MSP7 is great for big items like duvet covers or sheets. It opens extra wide for bulky items and there's room in the back to hold the material while you feed it through piece by piece so you can fold as you go, and when you've finished the MSP7 is portable. The 'jaws' lock together so you can use the pressing handle for carrying. Like all Singer steam presses, for safety's sake the MSP7 has an automatic power shut-off feature.
A Singer steam press is as good as any trouser press for putting a razor sharp crease where it's needed. And thick denim jeans are no problem. Unlike a trouser press however, a stem press will also press: jackets, waistcoats and skirts etc. Where sharp creases are not required, the supplied pressing cushion is used.
Some tough fabrics are very hard to press properly especially if very dry. The 'burst of steam' lever solves this problem by providing extra stem when it is needed. You can also dry press with the stem turned off, or steam press with an alternative method by using the supplied Spray Bottle or a damp cloth over the area to be pressed.
