Description
For sale is an 03 reg Royal Blue Piaggio Typhoon 50. the scooter was originally metallic blue but after falling into the house and getting badly scratched i decided to respray it royal blue with little to no evidence of the damage (apart from on the cowling which is covered with a piece of black duck tape, new for about £30)respray job isnt perfect but its not bad (no orange peel like finnish). may want another blow over in some areas. Having said that the engine starts first time either on the button or by the kickstart. the engine has also been derestricted by a garage and can now do just over 45mph. battery will need charging. i have replaced the original indicator lenses with clear ones which look good. the mileage of the bike is very low at 3474 Miles (5591KM). the bike doesnt have MOT or tax, but there is no reason it wont pass (Tax £15, MOT £30). moped was used to get me into biking and after buying a 125 and passing my full test its now surplus requirements. Reason for sale is that I need money to fund new bike (looking for panniers and top box). in summary its not an immaculate looking moped and may benefit from some decals but has a reliable engine and has never missed a beat. Will be missed.
