GORGEOUS DESIGNER WEDDING DRESS made in 1990

from one of Princess Diana's favourite designers

I understand they are now based exclusively at Harrods and this is a rare chance to get hold of a rare, expensive designer piece at an amazing price.

If you look Tatters up on the internet they are so exclusive it's hard to find out just how much their exclusive designs cost!

This really is an amazing, beautifully constructed wedding dress.

It is very hard to do this dress justice in a description. It is pure ivory silk. The silk is fantastic quality. I have never come across such thick luxurious silk fabric.

The dress has a fitted bodice embroidered with lots of pearls. The neck line is a high 'V'. The sleeves are 3/4 length and come to a point at the bottom, again embroidered with pearls in a pretty heart shape. The back of the dress has 32 tiny buttons (but zips up underneath).

The waist is cinched in with smoking over the hips to create a neat silhouette. The waistline dips at the front. The skirt is amazing it is full and has a further pearl detail at the hem. There is a small train at the back - yet more pearls!

The condition is generally good (it was made in 1990), but 1 tear drop pearl is missing from the front, and there is some discolouration at the front towards the bottom (I have been advised that it will dry clean out - but can't promise). I can't find any other defects. If you are interested please don't let this put you off. I am happy to have it sorted out for a genuine buyer.

The dress cost over £2000 to have made in 1990 a fortune then and still a lot of money now, and the decoration alone is worth several hundred pounds.

It is a size 10 approx, and was made for someone of 5ft 9 although the person in the photo is approx 5ft 4 and was wearing high heels.

It is a fairy tale dream of a dress for your dream wedding day.

I can assist you with the fit and any modifications you may require through a professional seamstress with experience of making and altering wedding dresses. (Any modifications would be at extra cost.) Maybe you like the dress but would prefer it without sleeves. You could have it "bespoked" to you requirements.
