Description
2.0L/2.5L WRX with standard ECU calibrations deliver between 218bhp225bhp. On standard engine internals with a professionally remapped Denso ECU and supporting induction, fuel pump and exhaust modifications they are capable of safely delivering up to 330bhp without adverse affect. 2.5L STi with standard ECU calibrations deliver c. 265bhp. On standard engine internals with a professionally remapped Denso ECU and supporting Turbo, induction, fuel pump and exhaust modifications they are capable of safely delivering between 370bhp-400bhp without adverse affect. 2.0L STi with standard ECU calibrations deliver c. 265bhp. On standard engine internals with a professionally remapped Denso ECU and supporting Turbo, induction, fuel pump, Injector and exhaust modifications they are capable of safely delivering between 400-420bhp without adverse affect all day long. Ive heard genuine stories of 2.0L STi cars delivering over 500bhp on standard internals and without adverse affects in regular daily use long term, however the more power you push from these standard engines the more likely they will be to have a terminal episode so we have to be sensible about modifications and levels of remapping. Being a very high performance vehicle it is our firm belief Subarus should perform as such and still be capable of delivering better MPG during daily use when remapped. Remaps can take between 2hrs-4hrs and are conducted both at Rapid Remap HQ and on the road. We suggest you drop your car off in the morning and pick it up later on that day when we will accompany you on a local test drive before taking your vehicle away. We dont use Rolling Road Dynos to remap because they cant reproduce on-road driving conditions. None of us drive on rolling road dynos everyday we drive on roads therefore we remap the Denso ECU on roads to accurately reflect everyday driving conditions and situations. This way you get everyday useable smooth and linear power delivery without a peaky power output. Whether you car has been completely unmodified requiring only a high flowing flat panel air filter and Snorkus modification for a Stage1 mild tune or is a fully modified up to the gunnels full on Scooby high BHP project car running a large turbo, injectors, CAI, full decat, tubular headers, FMIC and want 450bhp+ we can remap it. Our remaps are much less expensive and produce equal to or better than results than that well known solution that can cost over £650+VAT for the cost of a licence and the remap. That well known solution even locks out your ECU to anything other than another dealer with the same software that will charge you handsomely to further tweak your maps. We dont lock out your ECU and wont charge the earth to re-tweak your remaps after further modifications.
