Take a week to visit the Historic Heart of Portugal, arrive and spend the day relaxing in the beautiful and comfortable surroundings of Mara'd Cottage.
Then spend the next five days exploring the beautiful splendour of Central Portugal's Castles, Pombal, Penela, Castelo Branco, Monte Mor A Velha and the 'jewel in the crown' stunning Tomar, Convento De Cristo, the Castle of the Knights Templar.
All are surrounded by scenic routes, lovely countryside and excellent views. All are within an hours comfortable drive of your accommodation at Mara's Cottage, which is a beautiful studio cottage room, over 200 years old, over looking lush wooded valley, stunning views, on the edge of the forest yet only 5 mins by car from the beautiful market town of Figueiro Dos Vinhos. Sleeps two ,in ornate carved double bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchenette, with 2 ring burner, fridge, toaster, sink, free tea and coffee, lounge area, cool tiled floors, log burner for cosy nights in during off season, use of pool, sundeck and BBQ.
All linen provided, including towels.
