Hymer Camp 55 5 birth New MOT
Our wonderful mobile home has to go as I'm now disabled and can no longer use her. Any thing she has wanted it was done, hence the new rear brake shoes, drums, wheel cylinders, tyres, exhaust, major service, new 3 bike carrier and a new rear door security lock/handle. She has a satalite dish and reciever with card, cassette electric toilet, shower plus a seperate wash basin, 2 ring stove, 3 way fridge, wardrobe with controlls for satalite dish positioning, electrical control centre for 12 volt/240 volt use, on board fresh and grey water tanks which can also be monitored by the control centre. there is 2 rear seat belts for the back forward facing seats, the rear facing seats in the back do not need seat belts by law, so thats 6 seats for taveling with loads of storeage space underneath them. Our girl also has adjustable rear susspension which is great over slopping sites or deep ruts while off road, when on the road traveling its best to have it level. She has a 2.5 desiel non turbo engine which gives good mpg, a 5 speed forward and 1 reverse manual coloum gear change and is left hand drive, ideal for that trip down through France you've always wanted to do. We have only just got her a new MOT from our local council vehicle test centre, they do not do any repairs but do a very tough test, which is why we put it into a local garage to give it a pre-check and adjustments service, it's only been used once since the major service some 8 months ago. she is in wonderful condition, one of our friends said it was the best 1991 Hymer beating many newer models as every thing is solid, evry thing works even the black out blinds and the fly screens, it even has a drop down step for helping you in and out of the rear, great if you have not just had both hips replaced.
