Description
My parents bought this lovely, 'tilting space' wheelchair for my Dad just days before he died. This specialised chair has been designed to prevent the user sliding out of it and is particularly suitable for MS sufferers, stroke victims and others who require seated stability.
The chair has fabric upholstery, 16'' rear wheels and a seat width up to 41 cm, making it suitable for teenagers and small adults. Transfer in and out of the chair is made easier with removable leg supports and a sliding seat. It is easily dismantled and a collapsible backrest makes it easy to transport. This chair is light, comfortable and very easy to manoeuvre. It cost more than £2000 new and was used only a few times.
