Description
My Pinto engined Spartan with 5 speed type 9 gearbox must be sold
Although this is a great car, at the moment there is only a short Mot - 19th August - I believe she will pass with no major issues. However to save the hassle I will sell her as she stands for £950 drive her away or I MoT her and the price will be considerably higher.Good points -
1. all suspension bushes replaced with polybushes last year
2. new springs fitted last year
3 Bestek electronic ignition module
4 Weber twin choke downdraft (ex Cortina 1500 GT) manual choke.
5 Towbar with twin plug electrics - second plug wired to charge caravan battery
(If you want the folding caravan I may sell it if the price is right - I am going to convert an LDV into a motorhome)
6 Reliable used daily to go to work
7 A low mileage (under 40k 1600 Pinto) Spare engine and pair of Mk5 uprights and disks.
8. Tyres all legal Bad points.
1. Paint needs attention - touch-up or respray
2. Front seats are comfortable but not fantastic
3. 2 sets of sidescreens - maybe you can do better than me
