Description
My son is a school student 15yrs and seeking any grants or sponsorship for the World Challenge Organisation expedition to Zambia and Botswana which is in conjunction with school. The challenging 4 week trek explores the Kalahari Desert with the bushmen to learn about survival and their culture. We explore the okavango Delta (a large flood plain). The main project is to live and work to imporve a remote community and interact with the children and locals. This will be very rewarding and bring awareness of other cultures and lifestyle. Previous projects have been - either building, planting, painting or teaching English, whatever the community requires. To participate he has to fundraise £3,595 plus extra finance for all his equipment, vaccines etc. Having size 14 feet and 6'4" height this is costly. He acquires 70 points for University in the future from participating and will be fulfilling a very worthwhile project. He have been working very hard in spare time to raise money and would greatly value any sponsorship possible. He is happy to provide a review of the trip when completed for anyones advertsing purposes.
