Description

I am selling my very special Peugeot 205 with 12 months MOT & 6 months tax. The car started of life as a 1.6 GTi but was converted about 6 years ago, with the mi16v 160bhp engine from a Peugeot 405. The conversion was done in the professional way with spacer plate between the exhaust manifold and the exhaust and mi16v ECU. The car would have passed the MOT first time but I didn't quite put the head light back in properly from some previous maintenance causing it to fail initially on head light alignment and side light bulb but once it was put back in properly she sailed through. The engine & car have done around 106,200 miles which is really low for the age and always starts first time and no smoke. I've never been let down by this car, she is solid and reliable.
The car has a fully working sunroof & half leather seats in good condition only showing a little bit of wear and there is a small tear on the drivers side seat bolster. This car has been well looked after and never raced or thrashed.

Points to Note

Few points to note, it sometimes doesn't idle too well when its cold and stalls, but fine once its warmed up. There are a few stone chips that have been touched up, small bit of rust in the wheel arches, the paint is a bit faded where it looks like there has been a small repair to the near side rear quarter in the past but you have to be really looking to see it. The alloys are a little bit corroded in the centre. There is a crack in the rear bumper which was there when we bought the car but it hasn't bothered us. I've also noticed a few little dents, one on the tail gate just above the crack in the bumper and one on the drivers door. Considering her age this isn't bad!

And Finally!

Car has been driven very little by me due to house restoration taking up most of my time so would be better off with someone that could use it more. This is really not an opportunity to be missed, fabulous car at a bargain price. The car is great fun drive and a real head turner thats ready for the new owner to drive away.
