Aixam Mega Electric Van + Spare
Aixam Electric Van + a spare identical one. The first has covered 2500 miles and drives well, ( that's the red one). Both one previous owner and taxed which is free in the UK.
It bears the chassis number 0000001 so in time it will have an extra historical value.
The second has covered the same mileage and is a rolling shell that has suffered some damage underneath from striking a rising bollard.
Don't underestimate these little gems. Quick of the mark and great fun to drive. Light positive steering and a lot of carrying capacity in the back. Level road speed is about 28mph so no speeding tickets. Uphill is slower and downhill I've managed about 50mph. These vehicles have regenerative braking so you get some energy back into the batteries and reduce wear on your brakes. [See, electric vehicles make even more sense]. Range depends on terrain and how you drive, expect around 30 + miles. Charging is via an ordinary 13 amp outlet.
The spare vehicle is complete except for the batteries & charger.
An ideal vehicle for promoting your business and costs virtually nothing to run. Free road tax, NO MOT requirements either. Sell at a Boot Fair your antifreeze, box of spare fans belts, clutch plates, exhausts bits, oil and water pumps, you won't be needing them anymore! One moving part in the motor kinda makes so much sense.
Made from aluminium and plastic you won't need Waxoyl either. I'm only selling to buy another electric van as I wouldn't be without one now.
