My name is Sarah and I am 33. I have been riding since I was 5. Before I had children I used to compete in X country, showjumping and Dressage ( but prefered the jumping). I have owned and broken many horses over the years but have been out of the saddle for a few years while bringing up my two boys. (aged 8 and almost 10). I am looking for a full loan with a view to buy and would like to keep the horse at our local stables in windsor. which has amazing facilities. I am a school teacher so I am very trustworthy and any horse that came to live with us would be well loved and spoilt rotten. My ideal horse would be safe enough that my children could be around him but fun enough to give me a lively ride. I would need a horse around 16hh upwards as I am 12 stone after having my kids..!! I have owned arabs in the past and they are the loved of my life but I know it is harder to find a sane one so I am being practical and thinking that as a family horse we would suit a welsh x. My last horse was a Welsh and up until the day he passed away he was the best friend a girl could ask for. The home we could offer would be one for life. My boys are hoping that he may be sensible enough for them to learn on before they get their own pony.
