-1998/S Reg (2 seater/3 door Coupe/Rear Wheel Drive)
-3201cc, 321 Bhp, 5 speed manual gearbox (0-60mph in 5.4 secs)
-Low mileage 59k (done approx 4000 miles in last 12 months)
-Taxed to end April 2010 (cheap tax - £104 for 6 mths)
-MoT till March 2010, 4 previous MoT certs available
-Insurance Group 20 but currently insured on a classic car/limited mileage policy (costing £250 per year).
-Full BMW Service History. 4 green service lights showing when I bought it, although one went out within the first 2 weeks of owning it. So, 3 green service lights showing currently.
-Last service was July 08 at 55,701 miles (done c.4000 miles since then)
-All totally standard, no modifications
-Still on original VANOS but no problems at all. Runs perfect.
-6 previous owners (seems high but normal for this type of vehicle ie. 2 seater, high performance sports car)
-HPI checks carried out (2007 & 2009), all clear, no outstanding finance. Service book and all manuals available, some receipts.

Honest, genuine car in original/very good condition inside and out, drives very well, very eye-catching and unusual car. Everyone remarks on the colour and how nice it is, photos dont do it justice at all. Well cared for by lady owner.

£40,000 car when new. Hold their value more than any other BMW and an appreciating asset. Very rare, only 821 Right Hand Drive S50 models made from 1998-2000 for European market, hence a future classic due to its unique styling (estimated to be only 400-500 left in UK).

Engine is the E36/8, inline 6 cylinder engine, the same as the BMW M3. NB: The early S50s did not have traction control but some have been retro-fitted with it. Mine hasnt. Believe it was fitted to later Z3M Coupes, the S54 engined one, from 2001 until production ended in 2002. (They have no spare wheel but a BMW repair kit/tyre inflator is provided).

I have only had the car since March 2009. I love it but its my second car and I rarely get the opportunity to use it. As I also have a motorbike the BMW wont fit in my garage. Has stood outside on the drive all Summer but dont want it to stand outside all Winter too. I also have the problem of shifting them all around if I want to use the BMW or the bike, which is inconvenient hence the BMW and the bike are not getting used! I have only done approx 1500 miles in it since owning it.
