BT RRP £409.99 + VAT. BT Micro is a practical, convenient and affordable "office in a box" communications solution for the smaller business. It brings voice, broadband and data communications together in one box with dedicated helpdesk support. The Micro boasts the extensive call handling features you would expect from a telephone system with both wired and mobile DECT extensions (so you can roam on the phone!). But it also includes an integrated ADSL modem (for connection to the internet via broadband), a four port router, a firewall and Wireless LAN capability. And, on top of this, it has the ability to grow to support up to 8 handsets.
The fully featured telephone system has also been designed to exploit Voice over Internet Protocol technology (VoIP), with the capacity to support 2 VoIP 'virtual' phone lines (phone calls made over your broadband connection) in addition to a single standard PSTN line*. All lines work in the same way, regardless of whether they are PSTN or VoIP.
