Gruff is our family pet. He has impeccable background, his father being one of the countries leading Stud Dog Standard Poodles. He comes from a family of international Champions. Gruff is proven and we have kept one of his daughters who has turned out to be an intelligent, inquisitive, faithful and playful bitch that attracts favourable comments wherever she goes. It is fantastic to watch them frolic together; the love and tenderness between them is incredible.

Mr. Gruff is a very chilled and relaxed dog, nothing seems to faze him. For example, if there are fireworks going on outside he 'asks' to be let out into the garden so he can watch them! He brings my slippers and steals my hat. He is happy accompanying me on the train when I go to London and is equally at ease in the Pub or meeting other dogs in the country side. Gruff is of good temperament and very sociable, he loves people, children and other dogs, especially the ladies! He is a true gentleman. Perhaps slightly vain, he seems to know how handsome he is, loves attention and happily poses for photographs! We have lots for you to see if you wish. Whilst a gentle dog, he also is a great guard dog with a heck of a frightening bark on him should he feel the need to use it. He is protective of his territory and his 'pack' but never over zealous. He knows his place and doesn't jump onto the furniture or sleep on your bed.

It is our objective to breed him as a fantastic and friendly family dog, we are not necessarily looking for 'show winning' breeding; cross breeding is not a problem but we require your bitch to be healthy and will not entertain the idea of 'helping out' puppy farms. He charges £395 if you come to us but we are happy to travel for additional expenses. So if you are looking for kindness, cuddles and calmness in your puppies Mr. Gruff could be your man!
