GERMAN DOUBLE BASS, MADE IN MITTENWALD c1880 IN GOOD CONDITION. TWO PIECE PLAIN MAPLE BACK, MAPLE RIBS. BEECH WOOD SCROLL ON GRAFTED MAPLE NECK. THE TABLE IS MADE OF MEDIUM GRAINED SPRUCE PINE IN TWO PIECES. VARNISHED WITH A DARK RED BROWN SPIRIT VARNISH.

Length of back from base of back button to lowest part of bottom edge is approx 43.75" (111cm) Sttring length from lower edge of nut to top edge of bridge is approx 41.75" (106 cm) Lower bout width at widest point approx 67cm; upper bout approx 53cm. This makes it a 7/8 size
