"Mia" is a very pretty 15.2 hh Grey Anglo Arab (precise breeding unknown) mare, 13 years old and is looking for a new home where she can retire as a companion, or become a mum again next year or be played with on the ground or if her stifle continues to get lots better do some gentle ridden work again too.

I've owned Mia for 6 years, for the first 2 years as a pleasure horse doing lots of trail riding (ridden traditionally before my natural days) and then I decided she was so pretty and well put together that I would like the adventure of her having a foal. She's loved the adventure of being a mum too and has now bred 2 foals in the last 4 years. Mia has been played with using PNH over the past 2 years between and during pregnancies and understands all the 7 games. She gets totally mentally engaged when you play with her online and is very willing to learn. She's a right brain introvert so needs gentle and quiet whilst strong patient leadership to make her feel secure. She will behave defensively (ears back - keep away) with people who approach or try to deal with her inappropriately. Her confidence and her ability to express her opinion is growing all the time. She has also been used regularly in horse therapy with young people. She's confident with many things, great out on the roads in traffic, to box, farrier, dentist, walks over plastic tarpaulins etc etc and she's been a brilliant brood mare, conceived first time both times and foaled on her own and is a fantastic mum. Mia is barefoot again now.

She is regularly wormed, dentist, vaccinated, hoof trimmed. Mia was kicked in her stifle in July, x-rays were all clear but she is still recovering and to what extent she will fully recover only time will tell. She's very happy and comfortable playing online in the arena and hacking out at a walk online accompanying her favourite gelding as part of her recovery regime. She's currently still visibly lame in trot+

She is only sadly looking for a great new home as I don't have enough time to do 5 horses justice. She would be ideal either as a brood mare or companion horse or for someone who just wants a horse to play with on the ground and develop a relationship with or as her stifle hopefully strengthens again to bring back into a measure of gentle hacking.
