CD Players are extremely susceptable to sonic interference from resonance and vibration etc - even from your own loudspeakers.

For ultimate performance and the best sound quality, your CD Player should be as well isolated as possible from such vibrations and resonances.

A quality CD player should never simply be 'plonked' on the first available flat surface which springs to mind, like a shelf or piece of furniture. Ideally, a dedicated hi-fi isolation stand should be used but if you don't have one or indeed, don't have room for one of these, this ISOLATION PLINTH with heavy granite base and special 'Sorbothane' feet, compressed in genuine 22 carat gold 'O' rings, will noticably improve the sound of your CD Player.

There are even benefits and further improvements to be gained if you do already own a purpose-made hi-fi stand - the plinth will provide a further level of isolation, ensuring the purest, most accurate sound from your CD Player.
