Description
Herne Bay Mobility is kindly storing my Quantum Pride electric wheelchair whilst I have been dealing with my late foster mum's affairs. She passed away recently from MND. This lovely power chair enabled her to have some independence in the 4 months she was at the nursing home... It has only been used in and around the home. Facts and features are as follows and can be verified by contacting the manager of the mobility store we bought it from:-Assembled in 2007, was surplus stock, so was unused until we bought it in March '09.
-Road legal (with free tax), 6mph model (variable speed settings) Indicators, head/tail lights, anti-tip wheels, well designed suspension. Comes with new batteries and charger.
-Euro Comfort Seat and a curved, shaped, detachable headrest; adjustable reclining back.
-Supports weight up to 25 Stone.
-New cost would be approx £4500 - £4800 although they can be bought on the net for as low as £3700 delivered in a crate for self assembly. Summary- Bought as new, never used, and from March to July '09, only used around the nursing home, this powerchair can still be under warranty for a small amount. Once purchased, the power chair can be delivered to you, within the Kent area, or collected from Herne Bay Mobility.
