This is a 60w yamitsu algae master uv filter.
I am upgrading and up sizing my pond as i have recently moved house.
Ive had the unit about 8 months.
The unit has got two new bulbs (approximately 2 months old). these cost £36 for the pair.
They are the 30w bulbs.
The unit is in good overall condition appart from i broke one of the uv connectors during removing it from the last pond.
I have put on another connector and taped it up( see photos ) both bulbs work fine (see photo) and the unit will make a good addition to anyones pond.
On the unit i have got a 1" ball valve solvent welded onto a 90 degree pipe fitting. This just needs the screw thread end to complete it or cut it off and put new pipe on. For the sake of a couple of £ a threaded fitting would be best as the valve cost about £10 and is usefull to shut water off from entering the uv during cleaning or maintenance etc.
The unit was on a pond with another uv filter the ran a pond of just over 11,000 liters
This item is best collection only due to size, weight and the contents in it are prone to damage. (the uv bulbs). Open to decent offers I paid over £200 for this so please dont make silly offers, as i dont like to offend
