Description
This Bass is less than 3 months old, it is in mint condition and has never been gigged. You will not find a better example as this is a new bass except its been hung on my wall since purchase. It was bought for a new band project (Kings of Leon Tribute) which has sadly not happened so its got to go.
It is a very accurate copy of the classic Gibson Thunderbird Bass by Japanese Guitar maker Tokai. The Neck is set into the solid Alder body rather than using the bolt-on technique which epiphone uses on their version. This set neck design gives much better sustain than a bolt-on and is almost as good as a neck through bass. It is in the sought after Vintage White, which is actually a nice Cream colour, as used by Kings of Leon Bassist Jared Followill. It comes with a White scratchplate printed with the "Thunderbird" gold logo and black hardware.
